About
Founded in 2004, Maharaja Games created for the first time, original edugaming content for the Indian market under its brand Skoolastica. Our titles got excellent reviews from the educational fraternity, the media and the Skoolastica heroes Vir, Sia and Sana became an instant hit with the children. Our next milestone was developing a theme based game for India's first animated film, Hanuman.
Since then, Maharaja Games has come a long way developing high quality gaming and multimedia content for international publishers and developers, but we feel our journey has just begun. Today Maharaja Games caters to largely western publishers and media houses, developing single-player, multi-player and massively multi-player online games for the mainstream gaming demographic. Games developed by us have been published on Social Networking portals such as Facebook, Meebo, etc.
We are registered as Intel's Software Partner and have access to tools and resources that enable us to take advantage of the latest Intel platforms and technologies during all phases of game development and testing.

Development Philosophy
While games are a form of art, game development is akin software development (at least Maharaja Games treats it that way.) Over the years we have refined our development and production methods and processes in a manner robust enough to create nifty games on budget and on time. The best practices we've developed so far in creating gaming content on Flash, today give us a definitive edge in the industry. We loudly believe that if more companies treat game development process as a science, the industry would see more successful games that are hit amongst gamers and lend financial stability to the industry as a whole.
